I have a portable, rechargeable drill and I love it. The built in battery helps because you can not lose the battery without loseing the drill. Most have a two speed trigger works well. Slow speed is good for screwing things and high speed is used good for drilling. With this tool and a hand saw I built a deck and it has been recieving great comments from guests. After I use mine for a whole day I just plug it in over night to recharge. When you recharge it it is natural for it to become a little warm so do not be alarmed if something like this happens. I have had a battery powered drill for two years now and without it I would have had to spend alot more money for a professional to do the job that I needed to get done.
