Brand new products don't need a warranty.d
Jan 28 '00
If the sales person is trying to sell a warranty, they must not
have much faith in the quality of the merchandise they are selling
and if your even considering buying a warranty you should ask yourself,
Why am I paying even more money for this product and why should I have
to insure the product against breakage. Most warranties are limited or pro-rated to the factories advantage, so you end up paying additional
money even when the product breaks. What you should ask yourself is,
do I want a brand new product that has an additional cost attached?
Maybe I should shop around for a better made product that the factory
has made to last. The only good thing I have ever heard that a warranty
was worth having is when an automobile blew up and the warranty was
worth having because the astronomical cost for car parts.
