The other day our old Kenmore microwave died, so we went out and purchased a new one. We were looking for something in the 1-1.5 cubic foot range and we ended up getting this Panasonic model at a Circuit City nearby.
It was pretty much your basic microwave. Good interface, a doorhandle instead of an open door button which was rather new to me and this model had a bacon key. Bacon is one of my favorite foods so the button has came in handy on many occassions at my household. I have a feeling if a button stops working it will be the one with Bacon written on the front of it.
This unit also seems very durable. I have seen cheaper made microwaves made out of a much more flimsier material for the door and buttons but this microwave seems like it could take a pretty good fall and still keep working.
For it's size, this microwaves packs a lot of power and I would recommend this to the average sized American family. For only $150 this unit is definitely a good buy.
