This is going to be about my Caruso Molecular Rollers.
I got my first set several years ago and have been sold ever since.
I don't have a lot of time in the morning to mess with my hair. These are perfect for women who work and don't have a lot of time to mess with hair. Also for when you are planning a night out. Or really anytime that you need to roll your hair up.
I saw these advertised on Television several years ago. They are the ones that they use on the Soap Opera stars every day.
The first set that I got was the Happy 3 Way Traveler.
To use it you take the container that comes with it and put a dash of salt in it. This makes the water heat up when you put the heating unit in it.
You wait until the steam comes out and then you place the foam roller on the unit where the steam is coming out. You don't have to leave it on very long at all. You then take it off the steam unit and roll your hair. There are covers for the foam rollers that you snap over the roller.
You can either wind the hair onto the roller or you can twist it into like a braid and wind it on the roller that way. I have seen them do that with people that were getting glamor shots. The Glamor shot studio at the local mall uses these rollers also. I don't advocate the twisting method unless you really know what you are doing, you can really have a gnarled up mess.
I saw them advertising the newest Caruso Steam hair setter system around Christmas time. Although my original steam setter is still going strong this new one did not need salt added to it. I decided since I was having a difficult time finding replacement rollers that I would buy the new one.
Well I don't like the new one as well at all. It takes forever to heat up.
So I use the rollers that came with it and the old steamer. I plan on using the old steam unit until it goes belly up.
I really love these curlers. By the time you have put the last roller in the first one is usually ready to come out.
The curls and waves, stay in your hair all day long. The molecular steam unit curls the hair from the inside out. That is why the curl stays in so long.
I would recommend this to anyone who works and does not have a lot of time in the morning to mess with hair.
I would like to say that anyone that does get these, if you leave the curler on the steamer for too long it gets too wet and can drip on your neck and burn you.
