The lean, mean seger machine

Written: Jan 21 '00
Pros:good value for the price, light weight
Cons:no seam guide, no flatlock

This is a wonderful little machine! I love to sew and have been doing so since I was a child. It's in the blood, my grandfather was a tailor and my aunt was a seamstress. I have learned all kinds of techniques for finishing seams, but there's nothing like a neat clean overlock stitch and that's just what you get from this little machine. If you have always wanted a serger, but financially can't afford much, this is a great machine for the price! It's lightweight and very portable too. I found it fairly easy to rethread, and it has a handy free arm feature. The only negatives that I saw is that it doesn't do a flatlock, (or at least I haven't been able to figure out how to do one), and there's no 5/8" seam guide on it, which I feel would be very helpful. I've had this machine for awhile now and other than a maintenance cleaning, I haven't had to have it worked on in any way.
