It doesn't take a brain surgeon or a world known chef to whip this one up. No cooking just a quick warm up in a broiler oven. Wheat bread stands up better under the broiler than white bread. HOT HOAGIES 1 can ham 1/4 c. mayonnaise 2 T. chopped onion grated cheddar cheese 1/4 t. garlic powder bread of your choice Butter bread. Mix all ingredients. Spread on bread; top that with cheese. Place under broiler till cheese is melted. Watch closely, it doesn't take long! Note: Wheat bread stands up better under the broiler than white bread.  |
