Party PotatoesJan 28 '00 Write an essay on this topic.I really like this recipe for a quick meal or a great dish for a pot luck party. It was given to me by a wonderful friend who is the best cook I know. I personally have only tried the Cream of Chicken on the potatoes but I know the others would be just as good. Give it a try. 1 Bag diced hash browns (defrost) 1 Can Cream of Chicken, Celery, or Mushroom Soup 1 cup sour cream 1 stick margarine, melted 1 cup of milk Diced onion to taste 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese Salt and pepper to taste Place the diced hash browns in a baking dish and combine in all the other ingredients reserving 1/2 of the melted butter. Mix well. Then top with crushed corn flakes or ritz crackers then 1/2 of melted butter poured over the top. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour or until bubbly. Enjoy!  |
