Need I say more than the title? Okay, I guess I'll tell you why the Maytag Neptune is an excellent laundering machine.

I purchased a Neptune Washer and Dryer about a month ago. I almost made the mistake of purchasing something else after reading a couple negative opinions here. I am so glad I didn't. This machine is simply outstanding.

Our previous washer broke about two months ago. We knew it was only a matter of time because, with four kids, we were doing 15-20 loads per week. Thus began our search for a high capacity washer and dryer that would handle the needs of a large family.

I did some research on the various options available and narrowed my decision down to a couple washers. I read various reviews on the Neptune and they were all excellent, but when I came to epinions I found a slightly different story. Several comments were posted referring to a problem with mold developing. I talked to a friend of mine who owns a Neptune and he simply stated that he had no problem with his.

In fact, my friend said that it was the best washer he had ever owned and I would not be disappointed in owning one. After reading everything I could on the topic, I decided to get the Neptune. My friend was right, this is an outstanding cleaner. I cut my total loads in half. The dryer keeps up with the washer so there is no waiting on the dryer anymore.

Here's a couple features that I found to be the best. The washer has a max extract feature which removes more water from jeans and towels, as you can see, this reduces drying time.
