Braun Hand Held Mixer
Feb 04 '00
My kitchen is a small, very efficient kitchen. The counter space is limited, along with the closet space. What I need in small appliances, must be small, dual purposed, and not take up large amounts of space on counter. Needing a mixer, for cakes, soups and sauces. I need a food processor for chopping small things. Onions, peppers and other small vegetables.
Saw a commercial on T.V. demonstrating this mixer some time ago. The demonstrator showed everything it came with. A tow cup measuring jar with lid. A chopper, with blades and lid. A whipper to make milk into a frothy drink. Wonderful for coffee topping. And of course the hand held, light weight blender. It chopped celery, onions, peppers, walnuts, made bread crumbs. Chopped eggs, for salad. Separated tuna fish and made it flake, easy to mix. It also makes mayonnaise. Great for making a quick salsa. I have purchased canned tomatoes for pasta sauce. Got the chopped and pealed, instead of the puree. I put them in the pot, and put the mixer in the pot and made puree out of them, in a flash.
Clean up, quick as a flash. Just run it under water, or fill a tall glass with water, insert the mixer, swish few times. Clean. That's it. Dry and hang on the wall bracket. I use the two cup measure, to store left over's in. The same with the chopper. The left over chopped things store in its own jar. I never use my old heavy hand mixer anymore. I recommend this to anyone.Takes the place of many kitchen appliances, and so little space.
