While I was growing up my Mother always bought General Electric products and many of them are still serving her well years after they were purchased. When it came time for me to get a microwave for my dorm room I headed straight to Sears to see what GE had to offer.

This microwave is perfect for a student, small apartment or even a small business lunchroom. This particular GE appliance offers a special feature called "Convenience Cooking Controls." These are preset buttons for cooking things like popcorn, pizza, and warming drinks so that you don't have to guess how long you should "Nuke" your favorite snacks.

Along with the easy to use features comes what in my opinion is the most important feature of any microwave, the turntable. No microwave is complete without a revolving turntable to properly turn your meals while you are cooking them. This feature will likely save you from burning your fingers while turning food over since you won't need too.

I haven't had one problem with mine and I have owned it for just over a year now.

My favorite feature is the popcorn button. With one push of your favorite microwave finger you can have perfect popcorn every time. I use this all the time and have really been happy with the fact that there are almost never any un popped kernels of corn left in the bag.
