Unusual Chicken Breasts.... from fridge to oven in 5 minutes

4 to 6 boneless skinless chicken breasts
One 8 oz bottle of French dressing
One packet dry onion soup mix
One can of whole berry cranberry sauce

Line a baking pan (glass seems to work better for me) with aluminum foil and place chicken on bottom. In a medium bowl mix the other 3 ingredients together and then pour over chicken. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes; then uncover and bake for another 30 to 40 minutes. ( It is extra yummy when you cook it this way, however when in a hurry it is still very good if you bake uncovered for about 45 minutes)

This is our family favorite chicken recipe - they love the taste and I love the ease of preparation! It is a great dish to make for company; looks and taste like you slaved over it for an hour. Hard to explain the taste ~ kind of sweet and sour.
Serve over rice or even noodles. I also like it served with potatoes and salad.
I have also made this using pork and it was delicious as well.
