I purchased my Weber grill at the end of fall last year. I have owned a Coleman, a GrillMaster, a CharGrill, a Wal Mart special and another piece of garbage I bought in college.
Let me tell you, stop screwing around with all these other grills and get a Weber! Which would you rather do? Buy five grills at $200 a piece or buy one Weber grill at $425? Because by the time the Weber stops working, you will have gone through five non-Weber grills.
This Weber grill is awesome. I bought it at Home Depot and as a bonus they through in a Cast Iron grill surface. Once I followed the instructions given on how to season the cast iron surface, the thing never sticks and gives the food perfect grillmarks everytime.
The burners are awesome. I highly recommend paying more for the three burner system. I can slow cook three or four cornish hens by putting them in the middle of the grill surface and turning the outside burners on Medium and throw in a cast iron box with some Mesquite wood chips, mmmmmmmm good!
All three air intake burners have spider-proof vents, (which killed two of my el cheapo grills). The top is rust proof (which killed two other el cheapo grills) and the body of the grill is welded steel that will never rust.
I can't recommend this grill enough. I can do 12 huge hamburgers at once, the warming rack is perfect for toasting buns, rolls and whatever.
One piece of advice, since I have all metal pans, I didn't get the side burner option. I just put the pan right on the grill and it works better than my electric stove, but if you have a big family and you'll need the grill space, you might look into the side burner (at Home Depot they were $80 bucks more.
Buy this grill, you won't regret it ten years from now when you are still using it!
