You also can find them at garden centers already potted. The only drawback about the reseeding is that you will have a ton of them the next year. If you want to cut down on the number of plants that pop up each Spring, make sure you remove the vine at the end of the summer. I also use weed killer around the areas I don't want extra Morning Glory plants. You will still find yourself picking extra seedlings around that area, but it is well worth the effort because this is a beautiful vine that is easy to care for. Another great thing about the Morning Glory is that you do not have to fertilize it or take any extra efforts for it to look beautiful. Just make sure it doesn't get too dry and it will shower your trellis or fence with lots of beautiful blooms each and every morning.  |
