I have used several brands of chain saw on the farm. While my Homelite is the most reliable and best cutting, I really prefer to use the Stihl for most work. All Stihl saws are tough and very light weight.
This saw is large enough to cut firewood and remove downed trees without a problem, yet it is still light enough to use overhead when cutting branches. The included dogs also make it a good deck building saw.

This is the third Stihl I have owned and I have been happy with all three of them. I must comment, however, that I have been using the same Homelight as well as my fathers Echo for the same duration of time that I have had these three Stihls.
