Amy, not the blades aren't really easy to clean around; you are right there. I have a blender I hate but the good thing about it is that the blades come out so can be cleaned easily. This grinder isn't perfect, thus the 4 star not 5 star rating. Thanks for reading..jo

I had to laugh when I read your title and had to read this first of all my 'watched' epinions. Your husband has some hard choices to choose from..lol.. ;) Cool title!

I think that it's a great idea to have compartments for those cords. If only they made some for my computer periphrials it would not look like a jungle back there!

Child safety features are important when it comes to kitchen appliances in our house. Thanks for touching this category and for writing a great review!

Good Job! (Reply to this comment)

I have a similar coffee grinder--a Krups. It is small, and you have to hold the lid down in order to start the grinding mechanism. I also grind coffee beans with my Champion juicer grain mill attachment, but it is just so much easier to use the Krups. You said this one is easy to clean, but I was wondering if it is hard to clean around the blade? That's the only thing I don't like about my Krups.
