Fruit Cocktail CakeJan 31 '00Here's a recipe I've had for years! Fruit Cocktail Cake Sift together: 2 cup flour 1 1/2 cup sugar 2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt Add and mix well: 2 eggs 2 cup fruit cocktail Pour into 9x13 in. pan. Sprinkle over top: 1/2 cup nuts 1/4 cup brown sugar Bake 45 minutes at 350º Icing: Combine, bring to a boil and boil for 2 minutes. Pour over cake while both are hot: 1/4 lb. butter 3/4 cup sugar 1/2 cup evaporated milk 1 tsp. vanilla This is sooooo good! You can also top it with Cool Whip if you like....yummy! |
