Intelligence at its best!!

Pros:Easy cleaning, little mess and no slaving
Cons:None for me
This crock pot has made me appear to be an intelligent cooker. Boy have I got my family fooled.
I tend to be very inventive. But realize, with this crock, YOU CAN DO ANYTHING! Creativity is definitely a good virtue.
Let me just tell you........I am not the best cook in the world, but this crock is very encouraging and am on my way to being good in a simple way. I realized with a little trial and error I could make just about anything and this crock lets me. Just to name a few, I have made ham 'n' beans, chili, spaghetti sauce, meatloaf, chicken alfredo, stew, roast, and soup. After I barbeque, I let my meat slow cook in BBQ sauce for 30 minutes. It is excellently tender. You can do anything in this crock pot that you put your mind too. Meat, vegies and some spices and you can make numerous dishes without much effort. If you have little creativity, they have numerous cookbooks at your disposal for slow cooking.
This is definitely a small appliance of the century. It truly makes life easy when it takes minutes to actually throw some items in the pot and let it do all the work. Homemade cooking made easy and simple.
I generally throw some items in the pot before I go to work and 8 1/2 hours later, presto! Dinner is ready and I didn't have to slave over the stove. Stirring isn't something you have to do either. Let it go for 8 or 9 hours.....it'll be fine!!
This gives me more time with my family and less cleaning. When it comes to cleaning, it is definitely a cinch. This crock simply wipes clean. No mess, no hassle. Then I stick the pot into the dishwasher for sanitizing.
If you have plenty left in the pot after everyone is finished eating, simply put the lid on and place in the refrigerator. The next time you eat leftovers, pull the crock out and set it back into the outer warmer and plug in. Within about a half hour or so, the dish is reheated.
Lets face it......how much easier can cooking be? Getcha one and you'll see what I mean. Have fun with it. Creativeness is only trial, no error.
