Get Right to the Good Stuff

When my husband and I were married, we received a variety of cookware items. We were gifted with several pieces of Visions glass cookware, some Pyrex bakers and pie pans, a set of T-fal (see my epinion on these), as well as several metal cookie sheets. Through experience with these over the last seven years, I have discovered several things. Metal pans unevenly distribute the heat, leaving the bottom of baked items overdone. Glass cookware such as Pyrex and Visions scorch leaving a huge mess that requires soaking and scrubbing. The T-fal was nice at first, but it quickly lost it's appeal when the non-stick coating began to peel away.

My advice to you is to cut right to the chase and invest in some of the Stone Bakeware that Pampered Chef has to offer. It amazes me how evenly everything cooks in my Stoneware. No longer do I have biscuits that are brown and hard on the bottom. Instead, they are light and fluffy all the way around. When using the stoneware for the first few times, it is recommended that you spray it with a light coating of Pam or other such spray. After a few uses the stone becomes "seasoned" and no longer requires pre-greasing. You'll know your stoneware is seasoned when it is no longer the light beige color it was when you first bought it. Instead, it will have areas of dark brown. Yes, it might look ugly but that's a good thing. When it comes to Pampered Chef Stoneware, the saying goes "The uglier it looks - the better it cooks".

Clean-up is very easy as nylon scrapers are included with each piece of stoneware you purchase. Pampered Chef also has a great guarantee on the stoneware. If I'm not mistaken, I think that if you break a piece for any reason within 3 years of purchase, Pampered Chef will replace the stoneware. All they require is that you mail the original sales receipt, along with a piece of the stoneware that broke, back to them.

The one draw-back might be that it cannot be purchased through your local store. You must purchase it through a Pampered Chef Consultant, but it is not difficult to locate a kitchen consultant near you.

Take my advice. Whether you are a novice or seasoned cook, skip all the rest and go for the best. Invest in some Pampered Chef.
