I signed up a few months ago and think this is one of the best communities of musicians and industry people on the Internet. Everybody is really cool and willing to help out the newbies. You can also look for band members and swap gigs with people.
The articles and advice are great. They have some free downloads up now about getting more people to your gigs, selling more CDs, and info about major labels.
Unless you've been under a rock, I am sure you know about "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" with Regis. Well, these guys have a music business version online at http://www.indiebiz.com/quiz/ that is great!
There are a lot of options here, many of them free. It's definitely worth a look. It has definitely helped me out.
