WELL MY DOCTOR ALSO SUGGESTED THE NOROPLANT WORSE MISTAKE OF MY LIFE AFTER ABOUT A YEAR I STARTED TO HAVE BLACK OUTS. THEN I STARTED TO LOOSE MY VISION. I recently stopped taking Tricyclen 21 after starting it 3 years ago after the birth of my daughter.
I have gained weight, increased two bra sizes, irritable, moody, overly sensitive, no sex drive and fatigued. Being a mental health professional these symptoms set off warning bells, postpartum depression, maybe for a few months after, but not three years. We are going to try for another child soon, however will need to wait to see what side effects disappear. I have also experienced headaches that have actually woken me up in the night. They usually occur one week prior and during the week of my cycle. I would think twice before using this pill.

I had my Depo-Provera once two and half months ago and now for two months I have my period. My gynaecologist told me that my body adjusts to the medicine :( and there is nothing she can do to stop it. Another bad news. When I went to my family doctor to have my shot, he did not recommend me this medicine, because it thins the bones. And is especially dangerous for the women after 30. In addition to my permanent period I got acne and mood swings.
