Pros: Entertaining in a slightly sensationalistic sort of way Cons: Not very educational, there are much better children's shows out there
You might notice that a great many reviews on this show question the sanity of Steve Erwin, the wildly enthusiastic Australian host. Well, there's probably a good reason for that. Erwin, who has been handling dangerous creatures ever since he...

Pros: Entertaining, Educational and edge of your seat psycho Cons: Nothing new under the sun, or in the swamp
So i started watching this show with my kiddos, who really dig the Croc Hunter and made me sit through some of these crazy shows, and suddenly i was watching involuntarily. I just couldn't wait to see what this crazy-sob was going to do next.

Pros: More fun than a barrel of anacondas Cons: Steve Irwin is an acquired taste, and not for the easily annoyed.
"Now there's a naughty little snake!" That is herpetologist Steve Irwin's typical response when a venomous snake lunges for his face, narrowly failing in its attempt to deliver a death blow. While a normal mortal would be shrieking in fear, running ...

Pros: "The Croc Files" educated and entertained children and adults alike. Cons: Irwin sometimes puts himself in dangerous situations that viewers should never attempt.
With the recent passing of "Crocodile Hunter" Steve Irwin, television viewers will undoubtedly have ample opportunity to see episodes of "Croc Files" along with Irwin's other television shows and movies. It is my hope that Irwin will not only be ...

Pros: Steve's Enthusiasm Cons: Too many snakes - Yuck!!
Have you ever watched something knowing it would really scare you at times, but you just had to watch anyway? Kind of like my teenage daughter's addiction to horror films. That's exactly the way I feel when I watch The Crocodile Hunter - I know...

Pros: Funny and entertaining Cons: not one
I remember the first time I saw this show on television. I had just came home from Target and my father had said, come watch this, this guys is nuts!! Anyway, Steve Irwin and his wife Terri are to licensed herpetologists who go to the edges of the earth...

Pros: informative, very funny Cons: only on once a week
I can still remember when watching Saturday morning t.v. was fun. It was when I wore footed pajamas and ate Booberry cereal. Today's cartoons and "Saved By the Bell" knockoffs just don't satisfy me. I thought all hope was lost until I chanced...

Pros: active education Cons: You have to enjoy high energy.
Oh my gosh! This "Aussie" is GREAT!! My two sons, 8 & 4, jump at the chance to watch the Crocodile Hunter! They would rather watch this show than cartoons anytime! There is so much excitement and enthusiasm in this show that it is hard...

Pros: A show that kids can enjoy with their parents Cons: Not enough episodes!
Tired of watching all of those kids songs with sweet little stuffed animal types with high pitched voices? Well, this isn't one of them!
Crocodile Hunter's Croc Files is a 30 minute show centered around the adventures of Steve Irwin, his wife...

Pros: Possibility of seeing host dismembered Cons: Definitely not a show for the kiddies
It's a pretty sad state of affairs when the only perception of Australia that Americans see is idiots like Steve Irwin. And this guy claims to be a professional — a professional "what" is more the question.
I was stunned to...

Pros: educational, funny, energetic Cons: too many snakes !!!!
I have a terrible hatred towards snakes, but when I turn on The Crocodile Hunter's Files on Sunday mornings, I have to laugh at Steve's antics regarding the snakes and crocs he "wrastles." I have never in my life seen anyone as crazy as...

Pros: chock full of critters, including Steve Irwin Cons: might not be appropriate for small children or stupid adults
I'll admit it, I'm hooked on "Croc Files" and "Crocodile Hunter," both of which feature the extremely overzealous Australian wildlife enthusiast Steve Irwin and his American wife Terri. Why? Spitting cobras, that's why. I won't deny...

Pros: Entertaining and informative without the "sterile" after taste! Cons: If 'they" could only put The Crocodile Hunter and Frasier back to back - I would be in heaven!
If ever I have watched a nature series with so much life, action, comedy and downright heart-felt moments, it would have to be "The Crocodile Hunter!" Not too often do you find a show on such networks as Animal Planet, Discovery or TLC that...
