Lifesign1 EARLY detection (Reply to this comment)
by raindiva98
I just used the Lifesign1, sold at geodesicmeditech.com. They now claim sensitivity at 15 units HCG! I had a faint positive result at only approx 8 days post-ovulation (give or take). This is about five days before missed period. It was negative two days before that. This was with morning urine, and my temperature charting indicates a quick implantation. I'm hoping it's for real, but I've heard that as many as 1 in 2 or maybe 1 in 3 pregnancies actually terminate this early but most women never know...they just get their period as usual. Therefore, knowing this early definitely has its drawbacks!

Equate Home Pregnancy Test (Reply to this comment)
by jmht
I took 2 equate tests in Feb. 03 and got a positive result each time. For safety sake, I took an EPT, First Response, and Blood test. All of these came back negative. I have been reading on the internet and talking w/ my friends who have also had similar experiences with this test. With my first preg. the First Response and EPT gave me an accurate result!! Also Consumer Reports did a comparison in Jan. 03 and out of the 18 tests compared, Equate was 17th!! How terrible!!

. . . trying to determine if she is pregnant it is an emotional time at best.

Fortunately more accurate and reliable tests are now hitting the shelves.

Nice posting.
