My mother-in-law offered to buy an infant car seat for my second child when I was pregnant. I looked around for a while before I decided on this one. There were others that were so cute, but this one went on sale for a really good price and I just couldn't pass it up.

It did have a really cute print, midnight blue with yellow stars. I liked the fact that it has a base that stays in the car and you just snap the seat in and out. I also really appreciated the fact that it had the sideways handle. I remember the car seat for my first son did not have that and you had to hold it way out to your side which made it seem twice as heavy.

Well, when we brought the baby home from the hospital, the first thing we noticed about the seat was that we should have bought one of the head rests that you can insert in any seat. His head kept dropping over to the side. For the first month or so, I rolled up blankets and propped his head up. Other than that, we really liked it for the first few months. At about four months, though, he was still meeting the weight requirement for the infant seat - but he was getting tall enough that his feet were hanging over the end of the seat. We had to be careful not to catch his feet in the base!

Overall I think it is a great product, as long as you have the head support. We have really enjoyed it and I would recommend it. It is durable, easy to clean (the cloth comes off of the seat so you can wash it), and my sister-in-law is going to use it for her baby as well.
