How Much Should They Watch?

I have been asking myself this question for a long time now. I use to love having the TV there to help keep the kids busy while I was doing busy work around the house. Now that my boys are getting older. I wish I would of cut back on the amount that they watched when they were little.
We do now cut back on the amount of TV that is on. I have actually thought about taking the TV out of the living room I don't really watch it, they do have a TV in their rooms but they also have N64 and a Play Station. Why do I want to do this? We have been reading more and playing more games as a family and just plain talking!!! There really is not to much that I find interesting on TV any more. We when we do watch TV it is Nick at night, Discovery Channel, Weather Channel and lately my oldest has become interested in stocks and finances.
I find that TV has to much "stuff" I just don't want to be in my living room on a nightly bases.
I think we all should cut back on the TV and spend more time with our children before they are all grown up.
