My great aunt had a story similar to yours about the child on the roof. She looked out the window while washing her dishes. Suddenly, she reached for the phone. She called her next door neighbor. She tried to sound as calm as possible. When her neighbor answered. She said, "Now don't scream or get too excited, but your daughter is hanging onto the window ledge outside your upstairs window."

BOTH your stories make me appreciate my kids more!
My son broke his arm jumping over the couch just after I told him not too...
I caught my middle child on the roof once...
And my youngest is always trying to stow away in her aunt's car. Her aunt lives 2 states away!
but you two scare me! {:^)

I mistakenly wrote on my arm when I was 16. Not a big deal I thought. More than 15 years later you can still see some remnants of the scribbling. Its quite a conversation piece.
