I am not just a Stepmom but a mom in my Boys eyes.Mar 03 '00 Write an essay on this topic.Not to long ago my Stepsons and I was out shopping for the holidays and over lunch they presented me with a flower and a card that touched my heart and soul. Rich and Jeff had just wanted to say thank you for being there and not being the kind of person who only has unkind words about the other parent like many of their friends step parents. They also asked that we take the step out of my name because that has gotten to have such a evil sound to it now days. I could never have imagined having such a close and loving relationship with these great sons of mine and although I will never replace their mother I will always be there for them in every step of the way. So to any of the family out there that are having difficult times in adjusting to being step families just keep on working it out it can and will work out for the best.  |
