My daughter had her 11th birthday party several months ago. We couldn't really let her invite anyone in a small apartment, so something like the park was our first choice. We chose the park because it was going to be a warm and sunny day, and it would be easier to control all the kids. My daughter was free to invite as many friends as she wanted, and she ended up inviting around 23. We didn't really have any problems with that many kids, except that two of them tried to run away. The best thing was being able to play outdoor games, and we really lucked out to pick a sunny day. Nothing would work if it were raining.
