I own both Herbal Essences Shampoo and Conditioner. I have been using this shampoo / conditioner for about a year and I have been completely satisfied! First of all, they have so many varieties of Herbal Essences because there are so many different types of hair out there. I get the kind for normal to oily hair. I have heard from some people that Herbal Essences has caused them dandruff. Maybe it does for you, but that it probably the person's fault because maybe you aren't getting the type for your kind of hair. Although everyone's hair is different and it works differently for everyone. For me it works great. It not only has a great smell but it unsnarles my tangles and deep cleanses my hair.
