| ShannonGray's Full Review: Evenflo Trendsetter Advantage Travel System |
Travel systems have made a significant improvement since I had my first daughter in 96. Then I had a Century with a multitude of problems. Her poor head always flopped forward in the car, it was so difficult to take in and out, and appears so generic and dinky compared to the modern Evenflo. It also had no holders and I can't begin to describe the engineering required to convert to the regular stroller!
The Trendsetter advantage is wonderful. I love the one step collapsing! Much easier than a "delux" stroller I had by Graco. Now, it is also so much easier to attach and detach the carseat to the stroller, with the easy "pull" handle. The comfort grip is also extremely helpful, and sometimes I even maneuver the stroller using it. The one hand steering is a God sent when you are shopping with a 4 yr old! Another convenience is the large cupholder and tray for mom (great for keys and wallet) and for baby. The ride is very smooth, much better than my full sized Graco. It is also nice that they now offer the newborn head support in the matching fabric.
The only problem I have had is when I want to jog, I can only walk, because the wheels start to shake and squeak. Then again, this is not a "jogging stroller". For the low price, I consider this a 4 star product! :o)
