CUTTING BACK (Reply to this comment)

I lost my job 18 months ago. I am retirement age but was hoping to work until 66. My Social Security will barely meet my very frugal monthly expenditures. I love the hints you provided. Rather than get rid of my Internet and cable TV, I am going to sell my car (which is paid for)! I can save about $75 a month doing so and I can walk (what a novel idea!) to the grocery store or take the bus. I will lose my community garden plot which makes me sad and I will have to buy groceries at the $.99 Store. Oh, well, I will still have my condo which I love.

Wow, I just found your opinion for the first time. Your tips are fabulous! I was a short order cook for my family and now they are still picky eaters.
