That is mine

We had a large family six children one little brother died at ten months old. My mom was pregnant at the time and she named my new brother the same name. We all thought this was strange but I guess she had her reasons. My dad was a alcoholic which made it more difficult for my mom. It was like having seven children instead of six.
My dad was a loving father to us but the drinking took it,s toll on him.We got along for the most part except my sister and I would argue over boys. I,d like the that liked and so forth.I would fight with my middle brother we being so much a like did not get along.
Being the youngest girl I would get hand me downs that were ready for the rag bin. No matter how big your car was some one always had your seat. Then came the old cereal box fight of who would get the prize it never seemed your turn.My mom managed to keep a budget some how and feed us no easy task.
We all still communicate and I love my siblings. My sisters are my best friends and we talk almost daily. When my daughter complains her room is too small I say be lucky I had to share a double bed.
