RE: Time for a little Tolerance by wingdmanMay 09 '00 Write an essay on this topic.I couldn't agree more with the views you have expressed! I have two sons one is 6 and the other is 3. My 3 year old has a Barbie that he takes everywhere with him, he just loves her hair (I have long hair, it's his substitute for me). You wouldn't believe how many people have come up to me and asked "aren't you worried about him being gay when he gots older, because he plays with dolls?" Well this is what I tell them: "That is the LAST thing I'm worried about! There are so many bad things that he could grow up to be, being gay is NOT one of them!" I mean Come ON! As long as they grow up to be good, caring people, I don't care what their sexual orientation is, or anyone else's for that matter. I also teach them that the color of peoples skin doesn't matter, we are all the same on the inside and that's what counts!  |
