Maybe it started off with "you choose" afternoon or maybe it was just another one of those Nickelodeon martathons, but I became addicted to Hey Arnold. I have no clue why... Maybe its because the cute li'l football-head Arnold gets to me or maybe its just because I wonder why Helga's eyebrows dont match. Whatever the reason it is, I am addicted. I watch it when I am at school all the time and then when I am with my seven year old niece, Kaidi, she always has a partner to watch with. She is really into The Wild Thornberries, but then she also likes Hey Arnold. What I like about this show is that it is "reality." Okay, I am not stuck in TvLand - I know the difference between reality and television, but... Okay, lets take Tom and Jerry and compare it to Hey Arnold. I mean, Arnold goes through an identity crisis every week... hes torn between playing with his friends and starting to like girls. Not many kids are going to sit through an hour drama and learn how they should deal with their "problems." This show takes soultions and puts it into a format that kids can benefit from. Its not like their mom or dad telling them what to do. So... Why am I at twenty years old, addicted to this television show? No clue... Just watch the show...it wont be too much of a waste of your half hour.
