I'll be missing you....

Pros:realistic show
Cons:not suited for younger children

This show has been on TV for ten years and I have been watching it ever since. Beverly Hills, 90210 is my favorite night time soap opera. No other could match up to it. Not even Melrose place or Party of Five.

Brandon and Brenda, who are the main characters and my personal favorite, have adjusted well to their new surroundings in West Beverly as their lives began to unravel. They hook up with Dylan (a James Dean wannabe), Kelly (looking for love in all the wrong places), Steve (a playboy forever looking for his fathers approval), Andrea ( insecure and level headed), David (lost and needs to be found) and Donna (sincere and always looking for David). This is a unique group of friends who stick it out together through thick and thin. Also hooking up with many more new characters later. Like our ever so memorable Valerie who played the perfect scheming villan. The producers have put together great characters to balance out the different traits. Even more so, wonderful actors and actresses who demonstrate their excellent talents as they slip into the roles of each character.

They touched on many topics that affect teenagers and young adults like alcoholism, drug abuse and suicide among many more. I enjoyed it when they started out in high school with all the problems and situations a teenager could possibly face. Which brought me back to my own high school memories. All the way through college and finally as independent adults. Even though these kids are rich misfits they still had to endure their share of lifes trials. I feel as if I have known them all my life just by tuning into this sitcom weekly. Now as the shows finale closes in on us, we wonder how they will tie up all the loose ends. Personally I would love to see Brandon and Brenda back in their old familiar habits, however that is probably not going to happen. After I bid my final farewell to the last episode, I rest easy knowing there is always the world of reruns to take me back to the memories of the gang at Beverly Hills, 90210.
