I purchased the Graco Duo Rider when my twins were born. I already had the Prego Tender, but I wanted a lighter stroller that I could keep in my car. I chose the Duo Rider because it was not too pricey ($120), it had HUGE baskets, and the seats were side by side. There were only two things that I did not like about the Duo Rider: 1)it only partially collapses so it takes up a lot of room and 2)it does not fit through most doorways. The later was often a problem and I would have to take my kids out, fold up the stroller, go through the doorway, and put my kids back in - not easy to do!
Unfortunately, when my babies were 6 months old, my Prego Tender was stolen, so my Graco became my primary stroller. Once I was using this stroller every day, I noticed that this was not an easy stroller to use. Curbs were difficult to go down, and the steering was not very smooth. By the time my twins were 1 the stroller was falling apart. The baskets were beginning to rip, the wheel bent and it would no longer completely lock when opened from the collapsed position. Finally, one day while doing down a curb, the stroller completely collapsed on itself, with my twins in it. Luckily, no one was injured. When I went to the store where I purchased it, they told me that this model generally only lasts one year. I just wish my originally salesman had told me this before I spent the money on it. I have since purchased the Maclearan Opus Duo and love it.
