The House that "LOVE" Built

We have a kind of LARGE family here now, since my husband's two children from his prior relationship has come to live with us. It consists of my Husband, myself, my 3 daughters from my first marriage and my two step-children. But even though there are ALOT of us, we make it known every day that we love and care for one another very much!
It doesn't have to necessarily be said, our LOVE can be shown in our actions! Remember when your Mother used to say, "Actions speak LOUDER than words"? Well, they really do! Even if it is something so little as playing a card game with your youngest or simply cuddling on the couch while watching television, it's still showing affection!
I know in our family that our work and school schedules are constantly changing and sometimes it is so very hard to touch base. So, I have bought little cards or stickers for my girls, so that I could slip them into their lunch or into their jacket pockets, for them to find later! I always write how much they mean to me on these! It always makes them feel special.
My husband wasn't brought up to show how much that they loved each other. So it is important to him to tell us all every day that we mean the world to him! There have been times that he will come in with flowers for me (for no reason at all, except that he LOVES me)! That gives me such a great feeling down deep inside!
Show your affection toward the ones you Love everyday in every way, so that they will always know that they are CLOSEST to your heart!
