| drtimjohnston's Full Review: Baby Bjorn Original |
The standard by which all other baby carriers are judged, period. I am a 6 foot 4 inch tall, 230 pound father, and only the Baby Bjorn carrier fits me comfortably. The cheaper carriers (e.g. Wal-Mart variety) do not adjust to a large enough size. Baby Bjorn fits petite Mom and XXL Dad. I hauled baby Laurel at one month all over Graceland and she slept through the whole thing. Elvis did not remodel with a stroller in mind, so the Bjorn carrier was ideal. The carrier has plenty of adjustment points, as well as snaps, velcro, and safety catches that give peace-of-mind that baby is safe. The only drawback--the carrier is good and Bjorn retailers know it, so it's hard to find a discount. Put it on your baby shower list! Not cheap but not too expensive for a gift. Keep it in your diaper bag or with stroller for use in those hard-to-stroll places.
