My Nannie is a Granny!!!

Jun 28 '00

Hi, I am eleven years old. My grandmother, who I call nannie, moved from Graham Texas to Granburry Texas about two months ago so she could be closer to my mom and I.She usually invites me over to dinner and to go swimming. When she lived in Graham, she was a dispacther, but now she works on a computer at Granburry Dental center for my moms husband, well, he will be tomorrow, because they are getting married.

My nannie likes needlepoint, shopping, and reading. She is tall with auburn hair and brown eyes and everything she cooks always tastes good. Nannie like candles and sometimes flowers. Nannie lives in an apartment with a swimming pool. Her house has lots of flowery stuff and ivy. When she cooks homeade bread it smells yummy. I like it with butter and jelly.

My new favorite food that she cooks is chili dogs on a hamburger bun. We decided to call them hamdogs!

My nannie plays the piano extremely good. She used to play the organ in church. Sometimes she plays and we sing, especially on Christmas and other holidays.

Overall my nannie is a really great nannie. She loves me a lot and she makes me feel really happy. She says I am going to be something really great when I grow up because when I was born I almost died.

I wish you knew my nannie that way you would know how good she was!
