| stamanze's Full Review: Graco Duo Rider |
I should start out by saying that anyone trying to go out and about with two or more kids in tow is going to have some rough times. I got it because the front to back double stroller I had just wasn't comfortable or practical any more for my one and two year old daughters(now two and three years old). There are pros and cons to all strollers but this one has been great for me.
The best things about the Graco Duo Rider are:
* The large storage bins have even sufficed to hold a decent amount of groceries because we all know that just as you get to the store someone is surely going to have fallen asleep- and they can't sleep in the grocery cart!
* Both kids can sleep comfortably and see each other without having to twist around- and the one in the back won't be pulling the other kid's hair! I've been known to have both kids nap for an hour in this stroller while I shop!
*The large non-slip wheels won't have you struggling on smooth floors or bumps.
*The kids will be happier in this one- which means you ,ultimately, will be happier.
Other points worth mentioning are:
* When I first folded this stroller I thought it would take all my trunk space, but I was wrong! It wasn't too wide and it folds so flat that there is plenty of room to pile groceries and stuff right on top of it.
*I never used the napping bars that go across each seat as it is much easier to get in and out without them. I guess if your baby needs something to hold in order to sit up they would be useful. They are individually removable.
*I have heard a lot of complaints about the width of these types of strollers and I have learned to appreciate people holding the door for me.
Any standard door will fit this baby. You will have only minimal trouble in most places although there are one or two very congested stores I know I can't maneuver with this stroller and I opt for the store's cart in those places.
*The biggest problem I've had with this type of stroller is that something is always within the reach of someone's little hands or feet who shouldn't be touching it-- but I think this is a more universal complaint!
Overall I give this product a thumbs up, it has made my life a lot easier!
