| jackiw3's Full Review: Smurfs |
I was watching the Cartoon Network the other day, and behold a show that I grew up on came on. It was a trip through memory lane. I had all the Smurf toys to the big wheel. My two year old was in the room and I had to explain that these were the Smurfs. I never seen my daughter so fascinated before, not even with good old Barney. I actually sat down to watch it with her. Normally I would be cleaning or doing something just to get a way from cartoons. I remeber why I liked the blue little guys. That Poppa Smurf who was always looking out for all the others, Smurfette who loved to get attention, and you can't forget Brainey at least I think that's what his name was. I feel this show helps understand that cartoons are not always violent. It's for every age group and entertaining. Some would say that Smurfs is not educational show, but to me it is. At the end of every episode you find that no matter what you do family will be there. They pull together and get whatever the job is in that episode is done. I feel they teach morals, right from wrong. The only thing I can say is keep on truckin Pappa Smurf.
