| darcieann's Full Review: Evenflo Trendsetter Advantage Travel System |
Before I bought a stroller is did three months of research both on the internet as well as in stores. I liked the idea of the stroller/carseat combination.
I decided on the Trendsetter Advantage because it seemed to have all of the "extras" that I was looking for. Well, the first thing that went wrong was the canopy on the carseat wouldn't stay up. I called Evenflo and much to their credit they told me there had been a change made in the manufacturing of the canopy and sent me instructions and pieces to correct the problem. The second thing to go wrong was the seat back became permanently stuck in the reclined position. I again called Evenflo and they again came through sending me a whole new stroller which did have a totally different way of putting the seat back up and down. They also sent UPS back 7 days later to pick up the old stroller. Now, the rear wheels squeak terribly. So much so that I have a can of WD-40 in one of the pockets of the basket. One the front wheels won't lock so that it doesn't pivot which is necessary for folding and both front wheels are wobbly looking like they are going to fall off any minute.
I am currently researching which stroller to buy as a replacement, and then I intend to send this one back to Evenflo again if I am lucky enough that they will take it a third time.
