| fatima98g's Full Review: Evenflo On My Way Travel System |
I have three children. My youngest is two months old, and I am now using this stroller with him. I think I have owned at least one of every type of stroller out there. I had the regular single stroller with my first child. Daughter number two came so close to number one, I invested in the dual stroller. Then they became toddlers, time for the umbrella stroller.
Now, when I became pregnant with my third child, I had just sold all of the baby equipment I owned.
My husband and I went stroller shopping and I was going to buy the regular stroller. My husband, ever so logical, pointed out that I needed a carrier, too. With that said, he steered me towards the travel systems. I always assumed these types of strollers were inferior products. I mean they look funny, and when they first appeared on the scene there were many problems with them.
I was so surprised at how far they have come. This was not a hard decision to make. Not all of the systems are equal, but this system is wonderful. I love the carrier. It has an easy carry handle and is very padded. The base is slightly wider than other carrier/carseats. This makes for much better stability and safety in the car. It has a very simple push and lift release for removing the carrier from the base.
The carrier locks into the stroller very easily and with both the stroller and carrier hoods extended it blocks out light to keep baby sleeping. The stroller is nicely padded. It has a huge basket to hold that huge diaper bag. The stroller folds very easy. It is quite compact when folded(about half the size of a normal stroller).
After seeing the wonderful attributes of this travel system, I looked at it from a financial point of view. The system cost about $150.00. A regular stroller that allows the baby to recline would cost a minimum of $99.00. Then I would purchase the carrier/carseat. That would cost me another $65.00 to get the carrier with the same features this one has. I realized that from a financial point this was a wise purchase. This stroller also gave me all the convenience I could ask for. What a Bargain!!!
