One woman/mother's view on circumcision

I have 2 boys both circumcised. Do I regret it? No. Would I do it again? No. Both ends of the same candle huh?
Let me explain.
I made my decision to circumcise my boys based on the hygiene argument. You know.... the one stating that uncircumcised males have a higher rate of infections of the bladder and urinary tract. I wanted to be a good parent and anything I could do to make my boys life easier I would, I do, and will forever do. My younger son (Matthew) received a partial circumcision due to penis size. I learned the proper hygiene quickly.
Another contributing factor was my Ex. husband was circumcised also so it made sense. Like father like son.
Now divorced, I have a boyfriend who is not circumcised. We have discussed my decision several times. Michael has admitted that he had several infections in childhood and a few as an adult. Nothing requiring adult circumcision so far. Michael is an exceptionally clean man and I have no doubt that these adult infections are not from his lack of hygiene practices. He was told by his doctor that no matter how well he cleans these infections are always a risk to him as he sweats a lot during the day.
Now, I have to address the sensitivity issue. I have heard the arguments about circumcised males having less penile sensitivity. I really can't comment on THAT one but I do know that it also has been an issue between Michael and I. I do know that pulling the foreskin back too far can get a less than desired reaction from the uncircumcised male. I do know that even during intercourse that is liable to happen. So I am left having to believe that the sensitivity thing is real. A circumcised male would not have that worry.
So why would I not do it again? The hygiene issue is one that can be dealt with. Michael has taught Matthew how to clean himself and we have had no problems so far. Sensitivity can be dealt with also. Having known both circumcised and uncircumcised man I have to believe that there is greater "good" sensitivity for the uncircumcised male. The foreskin protects the top of the penis from constant stimuli, i.e. underwear, pants, etc., and therefore makes that area more sensitive. Remember..... I'm a woman and don't know that for fact. This is just an observation and pure logic.
