Witness to the "Wicked Stepmother!"Jun 02 '00 Write an essay on this topic.Let me explain the situation first! My mother had my 3 sisters and myself. She remarried after her divorce, to a man who had two daughters himself. Everyone thinks that the mother is the evil step mother who is trying to take the natural mother's place, right? Not always so. I somewhat had a step mother on my real father's side, but she wasn't horrible. Not nearly as horrible as my mother's step daughters. They tried to make her life hell. I feel it was their natural mother's doings. If your husband left you and remarried, you would be likely to be jealous, right? Well, how would you feel if he took the kids, to the new woman? I feel that their natural mother put in a few bad words. Have their been novels on this idea? If you have kids living with their father and their new mother, please keep your opinions of her to yourself. They have the right to judge for themselves, right? Or do you want to be selffish enough not to let them have a caring nuturing woman in the household, just so they share your views and grow up bitter?  |
