Hello dear. I want to tell you my heart breaks for you and you will be in my prayers. Never
can I comprehend what the loss of a child would
be like.
I found a post on a board yesterday from a women looking for help for her friend who lost a baby and she is wondering if it is depo. I told her I would let her know if I found any posts of anything with similar stories.
I can't say depo provera did this, but I know what it did to me.. I've read what it has done to others. I want this drug off the market in the worst way!! I believe it is destroying so many lives.

perhaps you too.. and others who read this in the same situation can console each other or help get your medical records together to see if there is anything you can do to fight the Upjohn the makers of depo provera.

I had miscarried one baby and had another one inside me and nobody cared to checked to see if it passed through me completely. I went to the doctors a week later took a pregency test before getting on the shot again and they said it said postive, but that's was alright because I had just miscarried and it was going to still show as if I was still pregant. So they gave me the shot still knowing it was postitive and six month later I found another baby inside me. He is now 7 months old and he has been sick since I had him he goes into seizures and has trouble breathing along with high fevers. Is there anyone who knows were to find out more about other side effects that may be caused by the depo?

My heart cries for you. I really admire your courage.
I had a friend that was on depo. She got pregnant 6 mos after taking the shot. Although she had excellent prenatal care and took good care of herself, her daughter weighed barely 5 pounds at birth. Her daughter is now 2 and still small for her age (not to mention a bad immune system, poor thing's always sick). We feel that depo had something to do with it. I wish they'd yank this from the market.

I know at least one other woman who got pregnant with her son, while she was on Depo-Provera. While her son lives, he's somewhat retarded. I can't help but think that the Depo-Provera had part to do with that.
