Was this item designed by NASA engineers? The Pak-N-Play is a marvel of design, combining safety, portability, and usefullness into one package. Our's is a combination portable playpen, bassinet, and changing table. Our Laurel (at one month) has not yet used the playpen, but she has gotten plenty of use out of the bassinet and changing table. She sleeps in it every night in our bedroom. One can set it up quickly after an initial self-training. It is sturdy. The drawback is when you try to pack it all into the carrying bag--it will go, but it is a tight fit, and is a two-person job. We took it on a two-night trip recently and used it in a hotel room--a home away from home for the baby. Dad's love hardware. Baby clothes? Bedding? Fugetaboutit. We get into the cool gizmos like this rig.
