We have had quite an experience with our daughter pulling the other kind of outlet covers out and placing them in her mouth (see other review)

I thought there was no other option so I removed them all. I thought the chance of her pulling one out and choking on it was more dangerous and likely that her putting something in the socket.

Boy, was I wrong. Only a few days later I walked into the kitchen to get a drink. When I returned, she had a pencil in the socket and broke the tip off. We immediately purchased this kind and have been totally pleased.

They are so easy to use and completely toddler proof. I have not had one problem out of these and I highly recommend them to all.
