| CJsMommy's Full Review: Evenflo On My Way Travel System |
I received the Evenflo On My Way Travel System for my baby shower from my grandmother. A very exciting gift when you are a new parent. It was heavy, which I didn't immediately like, but I could live with it, I thought. It had many great features though, which for the most part, make up for the bad.
I loved the fact that not only was it a stroller for older children, but there was a detachable baby seat too! It even came with a base to put in your car. Now, what's great about this? If your child is in the stroller, sleeping, and you need to put them in the car...now worries! Just lift out the seat, and voila, you have a car seat! And not just any carseat, but a great Evenflo carseat-very similar to the ones they put out just for the car! And it comes off of the stroller very easily, so you won't disturb the little one!
The stroller also has a great "luggage rack" underneath. It not only has room for a very large diaper back, but room for many of mommy's shopping bags. This stroller has more cargo space than my car! It comes in very handy when you are at the mall or perhaps going from shop to shop and don't have time to stop at your car.
The stroller also has two positions, which is nice. Your child can either sit up and look at the world, or lie down and take a nap. It's the best of both worlds, all in one stroller. It also has a great shade to hide your baby from the sun! And it even has a "moon roof" in case you want to look in on your child.
The things I don't like about this Evenflo stroller aren't too bad. It is a little bulky, which makes it hard to pack up. It pretty much takes up the whole trunk space, not leaving much room for all those packages mommy just bought! It also is a little hard to fold up. Sometimes it sticks, making it almost impossible to close up without two people.
Overall, this is a decent stroller. I'm not sure I would actually pay the $150 it costs, but it's a great gift! So, take that little baby of yours out in the sunshine because.....this strollers made for walking....
