| JackieL's Full Review: Big Wolf On Campus |
I've been a faithful watcher ever since two seasons ago. Everyone from Tommy to Merton has a very important part. Everyone adds to the show, without them, there would be no show.
The Gang
Tommy Dawkins : Tommy Dawkins is a self-assured, friendly football player bitten by a wolf on a nighttime camping trip gone bad. This small town jock reluctantly embraces the role of crime fighter.
Merton Dingle : Merton, a brilliant computer geek, aids Tommy during his fang-tastic coming-of-age and helps shield him from Pleasantville citizens who want to wipe out the town's werewolf.
Lori Baxter : A new transfer student from Pleasantville Catholic, Lori is a five-time state Tae Kwon Do sparring champion and top-notch soccer player. If there's action to be had, she wants in. And action is what she gets when she joins up with Tommy and Merton in their battles with the bad guys of the world.
Tim & Travis Eckert : These knuckle-dragging, mouth-breathing twin bullies are determined to catch a werewolf... not for the sake of Pleasantville, but for their own bagging and bragging rights.
There are other characters also, but these are the ones that appear the most.
The Show
This season the show has many different plots. Tommy is kidnapped by a group of wicked werewolves who try to turn him evil...A mad scientist tries to steal Merton's brain...Tommy fights a nasty pro-wrestler to prevent the end of the world...Merton makes some mysterious new friends and ends up putting on four hundred pounds of funky, chunky, and totally hilarious fat...Butch, the 50's bad boy comes back to wreak havoc on the gang...Movie star Corey Haim makes a cameo appearance as a real life vampire who falls for Lori...Tommy and Merton travel ten years back in time and meet their younger selves...And we're not saying who, but one of our gang gets bitten by Tommy! But that's just the beginning. They'll also take on ghosts, demons, spider people, zombies and a fire-breathing hell hound.
Final Words
I recommend this show to anyone who is looking to be entertained. I also recommend this show to younger girls because they might think that Tommy is cute. They'll have somthing to watch.
