I love to plan parties....

Well my party planning really started after I had my daughter, Hope. She is six years old now and it was when it was time for her to have her first birthday that I decided to go all out.
I invited all the friends and family of course and we had the party at my parents house. We did the BBQ thing and had a blast. I got Hope her very own cake for her to devour. Every commented on how nice the party was. Oh yeah, Hopes birthday is in August, so that makes it easier to have an outdoor party.
As the years went on we added more and we had pool parties and then we discovered that it was wonderful to rent a moonbounce. A bounce house like you can go in at the carnivals. It cost around $75 in our area, but it was all that needed to be provided. The adults enjoyed it too and the kids had such a blast that I didn't need to plan any party games.
I have decorated cakes myself and one year I did a cake for the adults and cupcakes inside ice cream cones for the kids. They loved those and it was less mess.
All in all I love the planning and seeing the kids faces when they are having such a good time.
